DESCRIPTION:
Off white to light yellow oil suspension.
Active ingredient is amoxicillin sodium, it is (2S, 5R, 6R)-6-[(R)-(-)-2-amino-2-
(p-hydroxyphenyl)acetamido]-3,3-dimethyl-7-oxo-4-thia-1-azabicyclo[3.2.0]heptane-2-carboxylate sodium
INDICATIONS
Antibiotics.It is a broad spectrum semisynthetic penicillin, bactericidal in action. In vitro it is effective against a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative pathogenic bacteria which include: Actinobacillus equuili, Actinobacillus lignieresi, Actinomyces bovis, Bacillus anthracis, Bordetella bronchiseptica, Clostridium species, Corynebacterium species, Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae, Escherichia coli, Fusiformis species, Haemophilus species, Moraxella species, Pasteurella species, Proteus mirabilis, Salmonella species, Staphylococci and Streptococci in cattle, sheep, pigs, dogs and cats.
USAGE AND DOSAGE
By subcutaneous or intramuscular injection. For livestocks 5– 10mg amoxicillin on 1 kg body weight ,one time daily; or 10 – 20 mg per 1 kg body weight , one time for two days.
SIDE EFFECT
In individual domestic livestock may appears allergy reaction, as skin rush, oedema but rare.
PRECAUTION:
Should not be used for animal which are allergic to penecillin. Shake well before use.
WITHDRAWAL TIMES:
Slaugher 28 days; milk 7 days; egg 7 days.
